Check your coin
- Look for the Winged Liberty Head, often called Mercury, and a date from 1916–1945.
- Original standard mass is 2.5 g, containing 2.25 g silver.
- Date, mintmark, condition and varieties may make a particular coin worth more than metal value.
Keep collector condition intact: do not clean a coin to identify it. Use measured weight for a worn collection.
